when i was in the 5th grade i want to be a firefighter wearing a green firefight suit and a red and yellow water hose taking out a locked up pig in a burning house or farm.

when i was in the 6th grade the WNBA was calling my name to wear their unifrom and be their star player, it stayed that way until i was in the 10th grade where i am at the moment

now i want to be a doctor i want to save people lives, who need the fame just to have to money and the attention? are they really saving lives at the end of the day??

the stupidest thing i ever done

i think the stupidest thing i ever done was to actually let myself believe certain people ever after they lied to me after i caught them in a lie, andi start back talking to them like nothing ever happened. you see i like to forget stuff and give people benefit of the doupt but they dont take advantage of it they ust prove me wrong agin and than i dont trust my own decisions. why do i keep doing that? i dont know if u ask my heart it would say because i want them to change so it could be like we.re in a fairy talr but i guess all fairy tales it a doze of reality

teen pregnancy

i wonder why people get pregnant at such a young age, they dont see that they are wishing thier life away by having another human being. You wont be able to have any fun or time to yourself unless you give the baby up for adoption or get an abortion. So why will you lay on your back for 15 minutes of pleasure for a life time changed becuase you wanted to do what you wanted, and now your paying the price and probably dont know ho the daddy is, with a possibillity its 5 different guys becasue you got drunk a the club and left a drink so someone drugged up your drink and no telling how many poeple raped you that night.

people now-a-days

poeple like to play with people emotions and HIT THEM like they are just a zoo animal and dont have feelings,  truth is ANIMALS HAVE FEELINGS TOO. people isn't considerate now-a-days and i dislike that and one day when i be mean to them they not going to like that and im going to act like i dont care. than im going to be looked at like im the bad person when im not, so should i keep being there friend or give them what they want?

so i admit this semester in school I SLACKED cause i got to the point i just want to chill and have fun and if I have something fun to do at the moment than school work odds are im going to actually do something over school work. am i regretting that no and yes. than again who cares cause im young.

I do not want to go to third or first block!! what is the point if i took one of those test already?? someone please help me im nerous for the biology test coming up on Friday and im not sure if i know everything its going to be on. School year of 2012-2013

When people forget what they say when they are sleepy

I was on the phone with a person in this class. They was saying things to me they don't even remember. They sound like a drunk person that had no clue what they were saying and when I told them about it they were embarrassed. I wonder if that's how drunk people be after they are done drinking and are sober.... Only way to find out is to witness it.

It's funny how..

It's funny how the world and people work you know? Well it's funny how life works. People leave, some come in, people hurt you, than people heal you.. Than your broken again.. Will you be healed again?
Some people just bullshit through your life, some people are fake, some are real, some are like family to you. You will hate some love some like some can't stand some and it's funny how you can feel one way and another a different day, what is the point of all of this?

Mothers Day Shooting

So 19 people was wounded by a Mothers Day shooting that the city held. I believe that is the third violent shooting that the city had when the city had a gathering. Now people that live in the neighboor hood or near it is afraid to walk down the street or even walk down the street. Kids cant walk down the street or play with their friends any more. Why will someone have a shooting out at a Mother's Day gathering? Is his mother past along? Was his mother out of his life when he grew up? or was he abandoned when he was little by his mother? How can they not have the suspect if the city held an event? Do the police not prepare for incidents like this? What if the suspect strikes again and someone gets killed this time? Police should ask themselves those questions if they haven't already.

The First Kiss

The first kiss.... The first kiss can be the sweetest, but little do you know that sweetness will become bitter when you don't even see it coming. The smiles, the butterflies, the softness, and the good feelings will turn into bitterness, pain, and sorrow at moments. Can you fix it back to the good? Or will the bad over come to good where the both of you will go blind to even know what was in front of you in the first place? Before you get close to them, think, is it worth it? Will that person stick with you in the long run? WITH OUT screwing you over? Well I didn't think about that, you know once you feel the good feelings yoy don't even think about the bad, you inlove with the moment and the feelings you feel. You don't think twice about that other bad stuff people talk about. I didn't care and after the first kiss, the beginning was close to an end.

Why womnen have to be feminine?

Can anyone tell me why a woman has to be nice and gentle?? Why can't we have two sides where we work out stand up for ours selves and out do men in what they do? Why do we have to do the house work and cook? Wear pink, purple, yellow, and other light colors? When we are born why are we already labelled by wearing pink? Why cant we have blue, green, red, black? Does that makes us unatrractive? Makes us lose sex appeal? Why cant we work hard and do what we need to do while being "feminine"? Whats makes us different from men when men needs us? Women, Female, Menstral, etc. All has something deal with a man within a female which proves males need women, but they do not need us to be feminine.

What do I do?

What do I when fear takes over my whole body and I cannot control what I do?
I say smart comments and bring up the past because I am afraid, Afraid of losing you to someone else. I love you too much my heart couldn't and wouldnt't bare to watch you love someone else or someone else love you.
When you did love someone else they broke your heart, you cried to me for atleast 10-15 minutes.
I know you was deeply in love with me when I left you it made me think how much you cried then.
I tried to make it up to you trying to get you back, havent't gave up yet and don't plan to becuase your worth everything im going through now.
All the trouble, the rejection, the pain, the tears, everything.
What do I do when you get mad at me because of the things I do from my fear?
How can I tell you im afriad when really what im afraid of is my fault?
How can I change myself to get our relatoinship stronger and to grow?

My Fam History

I come from a very large family. My great grandmother was half Cherokee Indian, she had nine children; the youngest was the only girl, who name was Mattie Akins. My grandmother Mother Mattie married my grandfather James Akins when she was 21 years old. During their marriage they had a total of then kids. My grandfather took care of the family by becoming a local truck driver. My grandmother stayed at home to care for the kids. My grandmother made sure that all of their children had everything they needed to succeed in life. All of my Aunt’s and Uncle’s were able to go to school, get a education, and graduate from high school, some even attended college to get a degree. There are a variety of different career’s in my family we have managers of department store’s, sales rep’s, pharmacist, and custom car designers. My mother Katrina Akins which is next to the youngest is a business trainer for a large life insurance company. My father Tron Vanhook is a car salesman. Seeing how successful my family is inspires me to work hard in school so I can be successful. On holidays my family always has a dinner and we all come together and have a great time with each other. During this time my aunts and uncles like to talk about the days when they were younger when prices where low, streets were safe, and where you could hang out without getting in trouble. The next generation plan on adding to the wonderful history of the Akins Family. More than half of us plan to go to college to pursue a basketball career, to become lawyers, and other careers that pay well. Every year or 2 our family have a family reunion or we visit my Aunt Pat in Michigan. I plan on walking on the right path and achieve all my dreams just like my family.

Are men sports more favorable than women?

         Men sports are more favorable than women sports. When you turn your TV and flip it to ESPN do you see women sports or men sports? Men correct? Do you see women 10 percent of the time? Despite the stats, men sports get more attention than women sports. “Although many women’s leagues executes seem loathe to admit it, the biggest audience for the sports is men” –Alyssa Roenigk. The only time women get more than five minutes run time on the air of  ESPN is when popular men sports are on lock down. While men can have an “off” game the same time a woman can have an “on” game, however, men mistakes are shown on TV rather than the women spectacular performances.  Men can have at least 10 highlights of their mistakes while women might not get one highlight of their game. While Maya Moore was in college she only had highlights a few times a night no matter how good she played, but John Wall Senior year he could have a game where his shots wasn’t falling, but he still had highlight of a bucket he did make. When Emmitt Smith retired he was on ESPN, the news, new paper articles, and advertisement. When Lisa Leslie retired she was only on one episode of ESPN. Can you buy a women’s sports game? Is there a face to represent women sports? Did you know there was a Women’s Major League Softball? Women sports are sidelined while Men sports are worshiped by the press and the fans. Angel McCoughtry has an average of .429% field goal .269% 3 Point .779% free throw and 18.4 points per game. Rudy Gay point average is 17.8, his free throw is .768 percent and his field goal is .457%. If they match up so closely why do a lot of people know Rudy Gay, but when you say Angel McCoughtry name people look as if you spoke a language that did not excist? Is this because of skill, sexists or favoritism?

Boston BOmb

The explosion at the Boston Marathon is just sad. who a would want to do something like that and why would they? What if this was sent by another country? Why would anyone want another war?
People saw a mysterious man on the roof leaving after the explosion. Could he be the person that did it or a worker of someone? What did Boston do to get this? I heard a guy was suppose to propose to his girlfriend when crossed the finish line, but she died. How do you think that made people feel?

Unaccepted

Being unaccepted by your parents because of your sexuality can hurt and make your feel undesirable, neglected, and torn inside. It makes you want to rebel against your parents because of the hurt they just made you feel. They say they will love you no less, however, do NOT accept your choice in liking or dating your own sex. You get the bible thrown at you and get told its a phase that the demons have on you to make you think that. Sooner or later you will know how to deal with the pain, the sorrow, the pain of the holes your parents once felt. You wonder, will this hole be filled again? What should I do? What just happened to the love they said they had for me?

 

My Plan For The Next 10 Years..

My plan for they next 10 years is to graduate from High School first than get my degree in college.
In my High School years I plan on getting a full ride scholarship in Basketball or Softball to any college that would like to have me on their team, if that doesn't work out I'm going to get a scholarship for my academics.
In college I'm going to study to be a doctor or a nurse. I don't want to stay on compus, but since I want to go out of state I would have no choice but to stay on campus. I also plan on proposing to that special someone, taking care of my little brother and saving up money for a car or an apartment.... With a pretty good paying JOB.

Laila Ali Biography

Laila Ali was born on December 30, 1977 in Miami Beach, Florida by Muhammad Ali and his third wife Veronica Porche Ali. laila grew up in Southern California with her parents and her older sister, Hana. In her teens she spent time in a juvenile detention center, she earned a degree in business management at Santa Monica College. She worked as a manicurist while attending school and then owned a nail salon. She later said that she had been inspired to train as a boxer by watching a televised fight between women boxers Christy Martin and Deirdre Gogarty in 1996.

 In her boxing carrer she in 24-0 with 3 Decisions and 21 KOs. In 2001, she defeated Jacqui Frazier-Lyde, daughter of boxer Joe Frazier. In the longstanding competition between the two women’s fathers, the fight was publicized as ''Ali vs. Frazier IV.'' In 2002, Ali was named Super Middleweight Champion by the International Boxing Association. Two years later, she added the International Women’s Boxing Federation’s Light Heavyweight title to her resume. Ali’s final fight took place on February 3, 2007, in Johannesburg, South Africa. She knocked out opponent Gwendolyn O’Neil in the first round, finishing her career with a 24-0 record that included 21 knockouts.

Ali has been married twice. Her first marriage was to boxing promoter Johnny “Yahya” McClain in 2000, it ended by divorce in 2005. In 2007, Ali married retired National Football League player Curtis Conway. Ali and Conway have two children, son Curtis Muhammad (born in 2010) and daughter Sydney (born in 2011). Conway also has twin sons and a daughter from a previous marriage, Laila Ali and Conway reside in Los Angeles.
